Now is the time for public submissions
Now that our Mandate Information Hui are complete, Te Arawhiti is advertising it’s final process, seeking public submissions on the Draft Deed of Mandate. Submissions are open 21 September to 27 October 2024.

Te Whakaaeatanga Trust is an Incorporated as a Charitable Trust Board, registered on 20 June 2023
WHAT IS THE SUBMISSIONS PROCESS FOR?
This is a public engagement and information sharing period commencing 21st September 2024 and closing 5pm 27th October 2024, where your submissions to the Draft Deed of Mandate are sought.
Your voice is critical, as we move through the settlement negotiations space.
Your submissions will help inform and shape any final decisions made during this mandate phase.
WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE:
- Well before us, our tupuna set out a plan to reclaim what is rightfully ours. This is the time!!
- It’s important for us to hear your whakaaro, whether in support, or in opposition, or, whether you simply want your korero clarified.
- We strongly encourage and, welcome, your ongoing feedback and participation that is the essence of this Kaupapa.
HOW TO PRESENT YOUR SUBMISSION:
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS?
The deadline for submissions is 5pm, Sunday, 27 October 2024.
We encourage you to submit early, to meet the deadline set by Te Arawhiti.
